this is the report about the project in scripting language class, last time we have mention that we will create a website base by PHP code with the help of codeigniter as a framework.
this website will be having a main screen with a javascript showing the view of the studio. we provide a 4 menu in top of the web, which are home, product, about us, about product, and contact.
we also provide some footer to link several pages that can be accessed by the menu mention above.

in the product, we provide 200 batik that can be ordered with the description of the price of each batik with each category. we also provide a page named about batik, which will tell the user about the history of the batik lasem. in about us, we provide some information regarding the company and the founder of this batiklasem. in the contact page we will provide some maps that show the locatiion of the studio and we provide a feedback form so we can get the feedback from the user and improve the studio.

in this project, my role is a database designer which will provide the design for the database of the system. in the database there are 14 different table that each contain an information regarding the transaction and the page content. 6 of the table contain only the text that will be used for the front end view, which are  background, motif, budaya, letak, about, and batiklasem.  the other pages contain the information regarding the order such as order detail and sent order. there is a special table for storing image of the batik with their ID called image. depending with the image table, we create a table called product which using id from table image as primary key. after that we create a table named product_category to provide the category for each image with their price. lastly, we have 2 table which are users and message, user is the table that contain the user that can access our website with their personal information. message is a table that contain all the feedback from the user that visit our website.

Background

There are a lot of Batik production in Indonesia, one of them is called Lasem, which is famous in Central java. This batik is used since the kingdom era in Indonesia. The price of this Batik is not cheap, therefore only several people able to used this Batik. Nowadays, this Batik is more popular than before so people may use it during some ceremony or wedding. In our era, finding things like Batik is hard because not every store sell it, only several store has it which still rare in society. Therefore, we decide to provide a e-commerce website as the solution to help people try to find this Batik in Indonesia.

As a group of three, which is Dimas, Kevin and Geraldy, we would like to propose to create a website that provide a transaction or we usually called it e-commerce website which will serve as the online shop for the customer so people can find this produce easily. The website will be based by the website created by Christian HL and we will plan to improve several things to the website.

Feature:

Currently, the website that created by Christian only a website to display the product, there fore we plan to add some feature such as:

a. User account

This website will have a form that works as a registration form to our website. The member will be able to do transaction to buy the Batik Lasem.

b. Shopping Cart

This feature is a part of membership feature, by having a shopping cart, user can purchase more than one item. Compare to simple website that does not able to save the user choice, it only able to purchase one item at a time.

c. Review Form

This review form is provided for the Lasem, in case there are some feedback from the user or some comment regarding the product or the website, user can put it in feedback form so the admin of the Lasem website can read it and response to the review.

language:

the website that has been created is using the simple HTML language , which is only works as front end. We will use the PHP as the backend language to provide the feature that we mention above. in addition, we use Code Igniter as the framework that will make the file and the code more integrated and less complicated than using manual PHP language.
